Don't you just wanna squeeze her?

I just love babies in footed jammies, as you can tell. You just want to pick them up and squeeze them, so sweet and full of love. I photographed mom's maternity pics just 4 days before this little one showed up, and her first shoot at 3 months, boy has she grown. This is "C" at 7 months and she is quite the show off! I don't know who spoils her the most...mom or grandma? But I do believe she is the twinkle of her grandpa's eye. Here is your sneak peek!!

Jammie Time

As the saying goes..."all babies are angels when they are sleeping" just look at "W" isn't he the sweetest thing you've ever seen? And as you can see, the best shots are just after a nap, Oh...btw the second shot is "W" watching Monday Night Football! Just goes to prove a theory, boys are born loving football!

Brrrrr It's cold out there

I met with L and C for the very first time at Hafer park last Saturday. We were hoping for pretty weather for the photo shoot, but this time of year is anyone's guess. It was dark and dreary as well as misting and very cold! But we were determined to get this shoot in for the holidays. I have to admit I was a little skeptical with the weather conditions, but C was a real trooper. We layered him up and went for it. C was so cold but never complained not even when he was shivering!! Believe me, we were all freezing. The park was not very busy and I think the few people that were there thought we were crazy...but as you can see the shots came out ...well see for yourself. Here is your sneak peek.

Beautiful Autumn Day

This Sunday was one of the most beautiful fall days I have seen. I got to spend time shooting a family of 6, two horses and "Millie" the family pet. I have known most of the family for awhile now and when I was asked to do their family pics, I didn't have to think twice about it. I grew up spending alot of time out on my grandfather's farm, so I understand how much they love being out on this farm, be it riding the horses, or just hanging out, they were in their element. Thank you "DTMJW and K" for a great afternoon! ( I am adding some pics of K, because, as you can see..she is....gorgeous. And btw guys, she has 3 older brothers...so you better be gentlemen!)

J and R in Bricktown

Last Saturday I spent the afternoon with J and R in Bricktown.
We found lots of great out of the way places for their engagement photo's. I think we could have shot for a lot longer and still not found everything. (I think I wore them out!!) The atmosphere created my most unique shots so far. I love the country and beautiful lakes but this was fun and a little more edgy. So many colors in Bricktown. So J and R here is your sneak peek, ( Oh...I was told the water was COLD! Such good sports and R actually thought he would need a towel?)

C and B's perfect day

Saturday afternoon I had an engagement session. You would think that they would all be the same, right? Wrong...something magical happens. After about 15 minutes everyone relaxes and just starts having fun, myself included. (and yes I get nervous too!) What I loved most about C and B, was their ability to laugh and play. Then B said something..." I just want to make C happy" that just made my heart melt, awww. How sweet was that? So C and B here is your sneak peek, and Thank you for such a fun afternoon.
(Side note....B is being redeployed and they will have to postpone their wedding for a year, we did 1/2 of there shoot Saturday and will complete it when he returns, so there will be more to come later..stay safe B.)

More of B,K and "Little Miss Independence"♦

Just a few more....

Beautiful young family

I had so much fun this past Sunday afternoon with a beautiful young family. I had the honor of witnessing "true love" in action, not only for each other, but also with their baby girl. Whom I have nicknamed ... "Little Miss Independence". This little one was 9 months going on 2 yrs. She was so fascinated with just about everything in the park and frankly didn't have time for the camera. Well I fooled her and was able to get some great shots. She didn't just want to try and walk....she wanted to run! Watch out mom and dad! Aren't they just about the cutest family you've ever seen? (So B and K here is your sneak peek.)

parkhurst pumpkin patch

Parkhurst Pumpkin Patch

To con't on from the previous post, my friend Marianne and I went to Arcadia, searching for photo opportunities. What we found was a little piece of heaven in the country. Signs posted "pumpkin patch" (and very nicely done, I might add) so we followed the signs and several miles later found a wonderful place, lots of room for kids to play, hay forts, pony rides, petting zoo (even a depewed skunk (if that is a word) a corn maze and hay ride. It was lots of fun to shoot and just watch kids as they ran everywhere...We met T and E who showed us around and even did a little modeling for us, it didn't matter that they were hot and sweaty and just a little dusty, they were so darned cute! So to Paula who so graciously allowed us a fun afternoon, Thank You!!

Rt 66

Everyone talks about Rt 66! I have lived in Oklahoma all my life and traveled on this road many, many times, but really have not paid much attention to the surroundings. Some family members and I decided to take a quick little road trip to "Pops" a place on rt 66 going east to Lake Arcadia. As you can see it is a little unusual ...it has apprx 400 different brands and flavors of soda. Being Labor day weekend it was too busy to stay and eat..."2 1/2 hr wait" so we will eat there another time. We traveled further east to see the "round barn" and few other crazy sites. Plan....continue our venture on rt 66 in the fall and see what else is hiding out there!

A Wedding Story...

Well shame on me for not posting pics from my nephew's wedding this summer. This was my first wedding to shoot, my son was the second photographer and he did a wonderful job. I couldn't have done it without him. It truly was a beautiful wedding, and of course the bride was Beautiful!

C and D

I had the honor of doing Cara and Dillon's engagement photo's a couple of weeks ago. They were so much fun and so much in love I actually think they forgot I was there. But that was perfect, exactly what I had hoped for.
