I am at a loss for words........

(to which I know many of you can't believe!)...to describe this young family I met at the park this last Sunday evening for their family photo's. As you can see they are a beautiful young family, but I think that what amazes me the most is watching their interaction with one another, having a 13 month old is a lot of work...been there done that, but sometimes after having children your lives kind of get put on hold with each other for awhile. For me the best part of taking the pics that evening was getting home looking at the images and seeing "a look" or " a brush of hands" just that little contact that showed "I care" between them. Their little one was there, and the only word to describe her was pure"sweetness" all the way. So enough words, here is a little sneak peek............for Ashley and Matt.

The Sweetest Girl!

I had the honor...and I will say "honor" simply because this gorgeous young woman chose me to take her bridal portraits.
Most people realize how important the bridal portrait is to the bride, it really is. But to the photographer it could be nerve wracking to get the right shot. Not with "J". I think she was a little nervous at first, but after a short while she relaxed and just "went with it". It didn't hurt that her younger sister and mom were there to joke and kid around with us. This shot was her favorite and it was "the one" she chose for the reception. It was hard for me to choose a favorite, I loved this one...but frankly I think she could put on a trash bag and be gorgeous (oh, you should know, she is just as sweet as she is beautiful!). So to get on with the story, I needed to use my reflector to get some light on her, her sister started fanning it and her dress started blowing which started her laughing...and we got "the shot". Anyway a Big Congratulations to "J and R".

tiny person....grand entrance!

Introducing the newest family member..."j". Only one week old and he has complete control of the household. He eats when he wants, sleeps when he wants, and lots of other stuff (if you get my drift)..lol. My nephew and his wife absolutely adore this little guy, even though he is keeping them up late nights. I read something the other day , a new definition of boy..."noise with dirt on it"...love it! So anyway here he is. Until later.

A BEAUTIFUL BRIDE!!!

I had to wait to post "K"s bridal portraits until after the wedding (I promised her so the groom wouldn't peek!) The wedding was this last weekend and it was the most perfect day I have ever seen, blue skies, calm ....as I said perfect. More on the wedding in another post, here are her images. As you can see she is a gorgeous young woman and almost every shot was great, this is just a small sample.

They are so excited to be graduating and heading off to new beginnings...college, independence (not too fast now!) classes (kidding of course) ................enough talking and on to my sneak peek of "K"...so petite and just adorable. First wedding of the season♦

Well I had the wonderful pleasure of shooting the wedding of "H and A" this

last Saturday. Of course the bride was stunning and the groom was handsome. But I think what really stood out to me at the wedding was the interaction between the bride and groom...they wanted to do the family pics before
the wedding and give the family time to enjoy the reception after the wedding. Which meant they would see each other before the ceremony. The groom asked everyone to leave the chapel so he would be the first to see his bride as she entered. Oh my ..the light inhis eyes when he first saw her is indescribable. It left me speechless. Here are just a few ...Congratulations A and H!
